PVC Free Supreme Polyester Blackout Solar Shades has the look and feel of rich cloth. The interior facing side is a lightly textured, opaque polyester which comes in a broad range of decorator colors. The exterior facing side has a white acrylic foamed backing (PVC free) to stop the heat.
PVC Free Supreme Polyester Blackout Solar Shade material comes 94" wide. Shade bottoms are finished with a weighted bar inside a sonically welded pocket. Radio frequency welding eliminates the need for stitching. (A stitched bottom pocket punches holes in the fabric and pulls it. Threads often fail in UV light causing the pocket to open and the weight bar to fall out.) Seams are sonically welded for the strongest possible bonding.

Premium PVC Free is a unique light stopping fabric offering texture with a flocked white acrylic backing to stop solar heat. This material contains no PVC. This flocked finish gives the shades their luxurious look. They are durable, flame resistant, colorfast and washable. Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner and clean with sponge, cold water and mild detergent. Premium PVC Free Fiberglass Shades are available in thirteen decorator colors.
Dual color material shades have a white flocked acrylic for better heat rejection in the summer. They prevent cold transfer through windows in the winter. These fabrics are bacterial and mold resistant. When installed with sufficient overlap of windows (mounting the shade above the window and beyond the window frame) all exterior light will be eliminated. Any shade that is both wider and longer than 78" X 78" require a horizontal seam that is a 1/2" wide.
